KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville City Council has approved nearly $5 million in federal funding for housing stability, with an additional $18.9 million approved for Pleasant Ridge Road improvements.
According to a release from the city, the council voted in favor of the funding to “keep people in their homes and prevent homelessness with allocations to programs that will assist approximately 300 low-income residents.”
