ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (WJHL) — College anglers will head to Watauga Lake this fall to compete for a chance to appear in the 2026 Bassmaster Classic in Knoxville.
B.A.S.S., the Bass Anglers Sportman Society, announced Tuesday that Watauga Lake will be the site of the 2025 Bassmaster College Classic Bracket.
Officials provide update on waterway cleanup in Carter County
The tournament, which will take place Sept. 26–29, will include the top four teams from the Bassmaster College National Championship. The teams will be split up, and the eight anglers will compete individually in a bracket-style, elimination tournament.
The winner will earn a berth in the 2026 Bassmaster Classic, an invitation to the 2026 St. Croix Bassmaster Opens, and the use of a “fully rigged” Nitro boat and Toyota Tundra for the season…
