Knoxville leader, mother reflect on life before and after ADA as 35th anniversary nears

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Disability Coalition is asking communities across the state to formally recognize Saturday, July 26, 2025, as “Americans with Disabilities Act 35th Anniversary Day.”

Data provided by the coalition shows that 13 communities, including Knoxville, have agreed to issue a formal declaration recognizing the day.
