Truck fire at Knoxville gas station stopped from becoming ‘much worse,’ KFD said

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Knoxville Fire Department crews stopped a box truck fire at a gas station “from becoming much worse” on Sunday morning, KFD stated.

The fire occurred at the Mapco Gas Station at 4409 Western Avenue in Knoxville. KFD thanked the crews their work on the fire, saying they had prevented it from becoming much worse.
