‘Nothing short of impressive’ | Tennessee installs new center-hung video boards at Food City Center

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – As a part of several upgrades to Food City Center, the University of Tennessee has installed new center-hung video boards.

The four main video displays that are center-hung each measure nearly 15 feet high by 24.5 feet wide. Additionally, there are four corner wedge displays that fit between the main displays measuring five feet wide.

University officials said the main displays are each capable of variable content zoning, allowing each to show one large image or multiple zones of live video, instant replays, statistics, game information, graphics, animations and sponsorship messages.

“An essential part of our partnership with Food City is the chance to reinvest in the fan experience, and the upgrades to the video boards are nothing short of impressive,” Director of Athletics Danny White said. “We are proud to have the most dedicated fan base in all of sports, and we are unwavering in our commitment to continually elevate their experience.”…
