KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A passing shower or storm, then patchy fog by morning. Lows will be in the low to mid 70s. Winds will be light.
FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY: Highs will likely hit the low to mid 90s with feels-like temps at 100-105. A HEAT ADVISORY is in place through 8 PM Tuesday. An isolated shower or storm is possible both days, mainly in the afternoon. Those that receive any rain, may be a little less hot, but everyone will have to deal with tropical, almost oppressive air.
LATE WEEK: A rare late summer cold front will move through with scattered showers and storms Thursday with highs falling into the mid 80s. A few downpours may linger into Friday. Lows will actually drop into the 60s to around 70.
