Crowne Plaza hotel in Knoxville sold for over $30 million

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Crowne Plaza in downtown Knoxville now has new owners after it was sold for more than $30 million.

According to documents from the Knox County Register of Deeds, Knoxville Hotel Associates, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, sold the property at 401 W Summit Hill Drive to Sachchidanand Hotel Summit, LLC, for $30,305,000 on August 1. The sale was confirmed by a notary based in Kane County, Illinois.

Sachchidanand Hotel Summit, whose owner is listed as Shailesh Patel, is based in Knoxville. The company also bought the Courtyard by Marriot in Brookview Town Centre on N. Northshore Dr. for $23.23 million in March 2023 according to records from the Register of Deeds.
