Paula Deen closes two Georgia eateries but keeps Tennessee spots open

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — Although ex-Food Network Star Paula Deen suddenly closed two of her Georgia restaurants, including a location she opened 36-years-ago, her Tennessee eateries aren’t going anywhere.

A post from The Lady and Son’s Facebook page, one of the restaurant’s closing in Georgia, said Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen in both Pigeon Forge and Nashville, along with locations in Branson, Missouri and Myrtle Beach, will continue to operate.

“We will now focus our attention on the four Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen locations across the country, in Pigeon Forge, Myrtle Beach, Nashville, and Branson,” the post said. “We’re excited to continue visiting these restaurants regularly, starting with Branson on August 8th.”…
