Paula Deen’s restaurants suddenly close and people have a lot to say about it

Southern food icon Paula Deen sent shock waves across the internet by announcing the closure of two Savannah restaurants on Facebook.

The Lady & Sons and the Chicken Box opened in 1989 in Georgia, and a social media post on August 1 announced that July 31 was their last day of service.
