‘That’s our children, our future’ | Knoxville drivers want to stop distracted driving and speeding in school zones

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – As the new school year ramps up across East Tennessee that will mean more congestion on the roads. It’s prompted those in the Knoxville area to call for cracking down on speeding in school zones.

In Tennessee, it is required by law to slow down in school zones.
