Knoxville woman’s apartment gets much-needed repairs after move-in

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A young Knoxville woman is pleased that her apartment has been repaired. She said the place was a wreck when she moved in less than six weeks ago.

A maintenance team did what they should have done before Mirabella Haitsch was given the keys to her unit. Haitsch told us she “couldn’t believe” the condition of her apartment when she moved in. Now, she is relieved that improvements have been made.

Haitsch is finally getting settled into her apartment. Maintenance has returned since we visited last month. She and her fiancé live at the Steeplechase Apartment complex in North Knoxville. Her unit had multiple problems when she moved in at the end of June. On July 3, 6 News visited the management office and reported the issues Haitsch had shown us, and action was taken.

“So, they actually had corporate maintenance men come in the next day and start working on the smaller things,” she said. Haitsch put down a lot of money for her family to have a nice place…
