Pedestrian hit by vehicle while crossing Dollywood Lane in Pigeon Forge

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WATE) — A pedestrian was airlifted to UT Medical Center after they were struck by a vehicle and injured while crossing Dollywood Lane Friday afternoon.

Officers responded to the crash at the intersection of Dollywood Lane and U.S. 441 at approximately 6 p.m. Friday. The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing Dollywood Lane, Pigeon Forge police said.

Investigation underway after fatal shooting in Andersonville

Emergency personnel responded to the scene to help the pedestrian, but because of the severity of their injuries, they were airlifted by UT LIFESTAR to UT Medical Center for advanced treatment.
