Seymour breaks ground for new fire station

The Seymour Volunteer Fire Department celebrated a significant milestone on Friday, August 8th, by breaking ground at their new location on 10320 Chapman Highway in Seymour. The ceremony, which had a strong turnout from community partners, began with welcoming and opening remarks, followed by a prayer led by Cory Cain.

Chief John Linsenbigler offered acknowledgments and special thanks, highlighting three key milestones in the establishment of the new fire station: the expansion, the modernization of fleet vehicles, and the groundbreaking ceremony itself.
