The Blount County District Attorney’s office has made a motion to reconsider a recusal in the case against a former Blount County Schools teacher.
Shane Howard Rewis, 52, was arrested on Nov. 12, 2024, and charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child, exploitation of a minor by electronic means, sexual exploitation of a minor, aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, and trafficking for commercial sex act.
