TBI issues Silver Alert for man missing from Knox County, may be travelling in Alabama

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for a an 84-year-old man who is missing from Knox County.

The TBI said on Tuesday that it issued a Silver Alert for John Quirk on behalf of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

Quirk is 6-feet-tall, has gray hair and blue eyes, and weighs about 160 pounds. The TBI said he may be driving a silver 1997 Toyota RAV4 with the Nevada tag 459TXL. The TBI added that Quirk may be traveling through Alabama.
