Tennessee announces Neyland Stadium change that fans appear to be split on

Who’s ready for Week 2 of the season to get here? Yes, the Tennessee football faithful can’t wait for Week 1 against Syracuse to arrive, but Neyland Stadium is going to be PACKED for the home opener against East Tennessee State on Sept. 6.

When you’re leaving home on the way to that game, no need to worry about making sure you’ve got cash on you. Wait, what? That’s right, on Thursday it was announced by the university that Neyland Stadium is officially going to be cashless for the 2025 season. While this might not seem like a major change, it’s something that indeed has the fanbase a little split on:

Hey, we get both sides of things. On one hand, you’ve got to imagine that this is going to cut down the wait times at the concession stands, as people will be able to tap and go. No more having to wait for cashiers to take cash and give back change. Seems like a win-win, right?…
