Farragut approves new commercial buildings along Kingston Pike

FARRAGUT, Tenn. (WATE) — The Farragut Municipal Planning Commission approved a site plan for new businesses along Kingston Pike.

The site plan would allow four new buildings at the southwest intersection of Kingston Pike and S. Watt Road. The plan showed space for nine new businesses within the four buildings including a Starbucks, an Edward Jones, a Pacific Dental Office and a Covenant Health primary care physician. In addition, there were four spots simply marked “retail/restaurant” or “retail/office.”

During the meeting, the commission stated that there would be a traffic impact study. This will help determine whether a new traffic signal is needed.
