KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knoxville police said an officer suffered minor injuries after a struggle with a man who had an outstanding warrant Sunday evening.
According to KPD, officers encountered Julius Darden, 31, while on routine patrol under the Broadway Viaduct, where no trespassing signs are posted, just before 5 p.m.
According to the warrant for his arrest, Darden was sitting in a lawn chair and when he saw the officer approach, he pulled his pants down to expose his buttocks. Officers later learned Darden had an outstanding warrant for felony vandalism…
