KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Big Ears Festival is coming up!
Between March 26 and 29, the people of Knoxville will be treated to performances by some incredible musicians. On Tuesday, the festival announced its lineup, including artists like:
- David Byrne
- Robert Plant
- Laurie Anderson
- John Zorn
- Flying Lotus
- Pat Metheny
- Hania Rani and the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra
- Richard Thompson
- Chucho Valdés
- And many others!
Passes will go on sale September 11 at 9 a.m., although donors and previous purchasers can buy them early. See the details.
Big Ears is Knoxville’s largest music festival, first created in 2009, bringing in people from all over the country. It recently lost $50,000 in grant funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, a spokesperson said.
