First responders, law enforcement and Blount County residents came together Tuesday evening for National Night Out at the Greenbelt Amphitheater Park.
National Night Out is an annual rally as part of an effort that highlights and encourages partnerships between law enforcement and the community that they serve. It also promotes safer neighborhoods through cooperation.
Attendees were treated to K-9 demonstrations from the Maryville Police Department. If they stopped by the MPD tent, they had the opportunity to say hello to K-9 Java, a black Labrador trained to sniff out electronic devices…
