KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knox County District Attorney Office said a Knoxville gang member recently convicted on drug and gun charges was sentenced to 45 years in prison without the possibility of parole.
Travei Dietz Pryor, 33, was convicted of possession with intent to sell fentanyl and cocaine, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony following a two-day trial in July.
Pryor was arrested back on October 12, 2022 after the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant on Western Avenue. During the search, deputies found Pryor in the master bedroom of the apartment. The DA’s Office said detectives found over and ounce and a half of fentanyl packaged for resale, digital scales unused bags, a blender covered in powder residue from cutting drugs and $8,000.
