Madelyn Rupp loves animals and serving her community. So, it’s no wonder the William Blount High School sophomore decided to lead her Scouting America troop in building an outdoor shelter for Maryville/Alcoa Animal Rescue Center for her Eagle Scout project.
Saturday morning, Rupp, troop members, and friends spent their morning in the sun, finishing the construction of an outdoor lean-to shelter, which will provide shade for dogs who are playing in the fenced-in yard.
