Karma caught up to Tennessee fans after lame shot at Bama and Kalen DeBoer

The entire SEC, including that team Alabama meets up with on the Third Saturday of October, had their jokes after the Tide’s Week 1 loss, and they didn’t stop after Kalen DeBoer righted the ship with a 73-0 Week 2 win. However, karma caught up with Tennessee fans after a lame troll job on College Gameday in Knoxville on Saturday.

As Kirk Herbstreit interviewed DeBoer from the field in Tuscaloosa before Alabama’s 38-14 win over Wisconsin in Week 3, Vols fans behind Herbstreit and the Gameday desk began to do Florida State’s Tomahawk chop. It wasn’t clear if DeBoer could hear the chant or not, but he kept his composure and didn’t break, even as Pat McAfee broke into laughter and addressed it directly.

Clearly, Vols fans didn’t get to DeBoer, not that any noise in Knoxville could possibly be louder than the calls for his job from Crimson Tide fans much closer to Tuscaloosa, but Alabama continued to handle its business while Tennessee fell flat.
