KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Knoxville Police Department is searching for a man after a shooting Tuesday evening.
Key’Len Cherry, 18, is wanted on charges of attempted first-degree murder and employing a firearm in the commission of a dangerous felony.

According to police, around 8 p.m. Tuesday, Cherry got into an altercation with another man while working at McDonald’s on Broadway. KPD said that, during the altercation, Cherry pulled a handgun and shot at the man while the man ran from the restaurant. No one was injured or struck by gunfire, police said.
KPD officers responded to the scene, but Cherry had already left. So far, police have not been able to find him. They asked anyone with information on his whereabouts to call East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers.
