‘Decisions we do not want to make’ | Sevier County Animal Shelter asks people to adopt animals to avoid euthanasia

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Sevier County Animal Shelter posted on Facebook with an outcry for help from the community.

They said they are almost 100 dogs and puppies over their capacity limit, as well as being over capacity for cats and kittens, and they said they are having to contemplate very tough decisions.

“Unfortunately because of these numbers and lack of space we are staring down the barrel of euthanasia decisions we DO NOT want to make,” said the animal shelter…
