Man convicted of raping teen multiple times after giving her alcohol, drugs, Knox County DA says

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Knox County District Attorney General Charme Allen said a man has been convicted for raping a teen multiple times and giving her alcohol and drugs.

According to Allen, 52-year-old Randall Myers and his wife, Abigail Myers, gave the 13-year-old victim alcohol and marijuana in the summer of 2022 before Randall sexually assaulted her multiple times. He said the assault was her fault because her shorts were too short.

Several months later, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office learned of the rape after Abigail confessed to the crime in a note to a friend, Allen said. However, Randall left the area and was missing for nearly two years before being caught by U.S. Marshals in 2024.
