New businesses booming in Farragut as population grows

FARRAGUT, Tenn. (WATE) — Franchises and locally-owned businesses are expanding to Farragut, with several new restaurants and retail stores opening this year.

Snooty Patootie Boutique opened in July on Kingston Pike. Store Manager Cameron Craig said she’s the community has welcomed the new business.

“I have noticed a huge growth in this area,” she said. “I’ve worked over here for the last three years so traffic has increased especially midday, you’re seeing a ton of people just in this area.”

Family-owned Paleteria Azteca just opened in Turkey Creek, while national chains Parlor Doughnuts and Tupelo Honey just opened their second Knox County locations at Biddle Farms…
