ALCOA, Tenn. (WATE) — A Wisconsin man is facing charges after a vehicle repossession worker was reportedly assaulted in Alcoa on Thursday.
According to an incident report from the Alcoa Police Department, Boubacar Diomande, 41, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin is facing charges of carjacking, vandalism and assault, as well as drug charges.
The incident report stated that around 11:25 a.m. on September 25, an Alcoa Police officer responded to the Walmart on Hunters Crossing Drive after a report of a disturbance. The officer spoke with the driver for a recovery and towing company, who told the officer that he spotted a white Mercedes van while that he had a repossession order for while driving through the parking lot.

The victim told the officer that as he was loading the vehicle, Diomonde got out of the back of the van and got into the driver’s seat, attempting to drive the van off the tow truck, the narrative stated. The document said the attempt made the van slide backwards, and the end of the van struck the repo truck, causing approximately $2,500 in damages…
