KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — A Mascot man has been charged following a road rage shooting in northwest Knox County on Wednesday.
According to court records, Charles Williams, 67, is facing a charge of reckless endangerment involving a deadly weapon.
A General Sessions docket stated that officers responded to a road rage incident involving a red Jeep and a white Truck near the intersection of Callahan Drive and Old Callahan Drive around 4:30 p.m. An officer spotted the jeep in a parking lot along Callahan Road and the officer spoke with Williams there.

The document stated that Williams allegedly told the officer that he was involved in a road rage incident with a white Dodge Ram on I-75. He reportedly said the Dodge had been tailgating him but did not hit him. The docket continues to say that Williams told the officer that around the 1300 block of Callahan, the Dodge passed him and threw an “orange or brown hard” object at his window…
