KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Knoxville Fire Department extinguished a small fire at a Knoxville bedding store Monday morning.
Around 4:40 a.m., crews responded to an alarm at Brothers Bedding on North Broadway, KFD said. When they arrived, they found a small fire near a window on the second floor. The sprinkler system was active.

The crews quickly extinguished the fire with only “moderate damage” to the store. A spokesperson for the business said the store is expected to remain closed for at least a week, but other locations are open, including one in Callahan.
