Man last seen in Mascot found safe after Silver Alert

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — A man who was last seen in Mascot was found safe, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said.

The TBI issued a Silver Alert for a Leeroy Mundy, 79, who was last seen on Saturday in Mascot, on behalf of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. On Tuesday afternoon, the TBI said he had been found safe.

Mundy was last seen near Cameron Road in Mascot on October 4. At the time, he was wearing blue jeans and a long-sleeved blue shirt. Mundy is approximately 5’9″ tall and weighs around 150 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.
