A Tennessee woman, identified as Loren Whaley, is under arrest after police responded to reports that she punched a seven-year-old child in the face in a grocery store parking lot.
29-year-old Whaley was detained on Oct. 3, authorities said.
The incident happened at a Kroger grocery store on Chapman Highway in South Knoxville.
