Warrants: Speeding 18-year-old driver lost control, slammed into house after passengers begged him to slow down

KNOXVILLE, Tenn — An 18-year-old Knoxville man faces charges after authorities say he crashed his vehicle into a Powell area house after driving as fast as 100 mph.

Warrants identify the driver as Jayden M. Ingersoll. He’s due in Knox County General Sessions Court on Monday.
