Knoxville Police Apprehend Suspect with Federal Charges and Accomplice with Multiple Felony Warrants

In a straightforward operation on Friday night, Knoxville Police Department’s Community Engagement Response Team (CERT) apprehended Nari Watson, a 20-year-old man facing federal weapon and drug charges. The arrest was made as Watson departed a residence on Pickett Avenue. Accompanying Watson was 29-year-old Madaisia Duncan, who was wanted for multiple felony organized retail theft warrants from Bradley County, Tennessee, along with two additional outstanding warrants from Sevier County.

The Knoxville Police Department reported the successful apprehension via a social media post, commending the CERT officers for their work. According to the post, the operation to securely take Watson into custody was carried out efficiently by the responsive team. The two individuals were then transported to the Knox County Detention Facility.
