‘Strength and care’ GetWellNow clinic opens in Mechanicsville

MECHANICSVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The new GetWellNow walk-in clinic on College Street in Mechanicsville held its grand opening Thursday morning.

The 2,500-square-foot space has three behavioral health offices, five primary care exam rooms and a laboratory, according to the owner, River Valley Health.

“Mechanicsville has always been a neighborhood that’s been defined by strength and care for one another, and River Valley Health is going to continue that legacy by opening this clinic,” said Knoxville Mayor Indya Kincannon at the grand opening. “When you’re sick or you have a family member who’s sick, how amazing is it that you can walk here, and it doesn’t matter if you have insurance or not.”
