Costco coming to Alcoa’s Springbrook Farm development

ALCOA, Tenn. (WATE) — The City of Alcoa is working with RealtyLink and Costco to bring a second Costco location to East Tennessee.

On Friday, the city announced the partnership, which is looking to bring a Costco location to Alcoa’s Springbrook Farm development. This development continues to attract new investment and energy to the community. The city said the addition of Costco will anchor the growing downtown center at Springbrook Farm.

The development is already home to a Texas Roadhouse and Blue Moose. Earlier this year, when Phase 1 of the development was underway, crews were working to build a Jim ‘n Nick’s BBQ next to Taco Bell, and several more restaurants were expected to be opening soon. During phase two of the development, more retail and commercial spaces are expected to be built, as well as some single-family and townhomes.

An anticipated opening date has not been announced. The City of Alcoa said as negotiations move forward, it will be partnering with both RealtyLink and Costco to complete site preparations, including traffic signal infrastructure, utility improvements, and construction of a section of Werner Avenue…
