Convenience stores offer foodservice deals, more on Veterans Day

Several convenience-store chains are offering deals on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. Coffee is popular, while other items include sandwiches and car washes.

Pilot Co

Pilot, Knoxville, Tennessee, is offering veterans, military personnel and their families who are authenticated with ID.me in the Pilot app their choice of a free breakfast sandwich and coffee or lunch item and fountain drink. This limited-time offer can be claimed at participating Pilot locations through the chain’s app. Pilot also offers year-round military savings for verified ID.me veterans, military members and their families with 10% discount on food and beverages when using the Pilot app.

In addition, as part of the company’s Miles of Good initiative, Pilot is continuing its long-standing support of the Call of Duty Endowment with its annual round-up campaign and contributing $250,000 toward the organization’s mission of placing veterans into high-quality careers after their service. From Nov. 8 through Dec. 1, guests can round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or donate $1, $3 or $5 at any participating Pilot location. The Call of Duty Endowment will receive 100% of funds donated during this campaign.

7-Eleven

7-Eleven is giving a free coffee or Big Gulp to veterans and active-duty military members. They must sign in or register with the 7Rewards loyalty program.

In addition, the Irving, Texas-based company is giving verified military personnel a 5-cents per gallon discount on fuel through ID.me.

This discount is stackable with everyday fuel deals, providing even greater savings for those dedicated to serving communities.

Casey’s General Stores

Casey’s General Stores, Ankeny, Iowa, is giving past and present service members a free coffee or fountain drink of any size. Vets can also redeem a complimentary car wash wherever they’re available at Casey’s.

Cumberland Farms

Cumberland Farms, owned by EG America, Westborough, Massachusetts, is giving a free coffee to veterans and active-duty military. No ID or uniform is required, just tell cashier at checkout.

Kwik Fill

Kwik Fill, owned by Warren, Pennsylvania-based United Refining Co., is giving free coffee to veterans.

Sheetz

Sheetz, Altoona, Pennsylvania, is offering veterans and active-duty military personnel a free-half turkey sub and regular-size found drink. The offer includes sub extras and add-ons. Sheetz also is offering the $9 car wash options at locations where this is available. A military ID of proof of service is required.

Circle K
