KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is inviting people to a public meeting later in the month, hoping to get feedback on developing a county-own property into a driving track for officer training.
The 55.5-acre property is located at 6101 Foote Mineral Ln. and has been county-owned for decades, property records show. It sits surrounded by residential subdivisions near Amherst Road and Ball Camp Pike.
