Knoxville shelters expand capacity as cold weather approaches

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Charities in Knoxville are preparing for cold days ahead as low temperatures approach the area.

The Salvation Army recently added 40 beds to their shelter and four more family rooms in time for the forecasted cold blast.
