MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a car on Monday in Blount County.
A 41-year-old man was struck by a car just before 6 p.m. on Wilkinson Pike, a Blount County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said.
One dead in Madisonville fire, detective injured in crash after leaving scene
The spokesperson added that the man is alive and was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center by an ambulance. No other information about his condition was available.
