Alcoa Highway ramp to John Sevier Highway shifting to new permanent alignment

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — As work on the multiyear Alcoa Highway corridor project stretches on, drivers should be aware of a new permanent change set to take effect this weekend.

The exit ramp from northbound Alcoa Highway to John Sevier Highway will be shifted to its permanent alignment beginning at 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 16.

The exit will begin immediately after motorists cross the bridge over the Little River and the scheduled change will be contingent on favorable weather conditions. Drivers should proceed cautiously while workers are present.
