KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A woman died after a crash on Broadway on Sunday, the Knoxville Police Department said.
Around 4:30 p.m., a Ford Fusion drifted off the road on North Broadway between Haynes Place and Caswell Avenue, KPD said. The car hit a utility pole and overturned, critically injuring the driver. She was taken to the UT Medical Center and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving, police said.
