KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Grace Baptist Church hosted the seventh annual Feeding the 5,000 event on Saturday, and volunteers passed out over 1,000 meals for those in need.
Every year, Grace Baptist hosts a Thanksgiving food drive to help families celebrate the holiday. Over 1,000 volunteers passed out bags donated by Food City with Thanksgiving dinner essentials like stuffing and cranberry sauce. Families also received a $15 Food City voucher for any meat of their choosing.
