ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office used a K9 to track a man suspected of breaking into a house.
On Saturday, someone broke into a home on Lucas Ridge Lane for a burglary and “messed with” the owner’s dog, ACSO said, describing this as “a terrible life choice.” When the owner returned, the dog was scared and shaking. ACSO employed a K9 named Bolo who tracked a man from the house, through the woods to the spot where he was hiding, the sheriff’s office posted.

“Because hiding from Bolo has never worked out for the bad guys,” ACSO said.
The officers announced themselves, but the man threatened them and wouldn’t cooperate, law enforcement said. The officers deployed Bolo who “swiftly introduced the suspect to the forest floor,” ACSO said. The deputies arrested the man.
