KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee swimming team closed out the final day of the CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge on Sunday at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center. The #8 Lady Vols earned a 35-21 dual win over #18 Arizona State to earn third place overall, while the #9 Vols dropped the Championship meet to #2 Arizona State, 19-37, to finish in second place.
Camille Spink and Ella Jansen got action started with a 1-2 finish in the 200 Free. Spink finished with a time of 1:42.57, while Jansen came in with a 1:42.62 to set the fifth-fastest time in program history. Spink also earned a win in the 100 Free, checking in with a 46.70. Jansen also earned a win in the 200 Fly, finishing the event with a 1:54.85. Emily Brown notched a pair of wins on Sunday, taking 200 IM and the 500 Free.
McKenzie Siroky got the first place finish in the 100 Breast, getting the win on a sub 1-minute time of 59.49. Emily Armen picked up a win in the 50 Free, while also helping the 200 Free Relay team along with Julianna Bocska, Julia Burroughs, and Jillian Crooks top a victory with a time of 1:29.64.
