Woman accused of escaping Davidson County sheriff’s facility captured in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — On Tuesday, the U.S. Marshals Service said they captured a woman in Knoxville who escaped a Davidson County sheriff’s facility back in November.

According to the marshals, Jamie Lynn Pfitzner, 44, escaped the Davidson County Sheriff’s facility on Harding Place on Nov. 11, where she was being held on fraud and theft charges.

The Smoky Mountains Fugitive Task Force was asked to help locate Pfitzner on Nov. 18 after investigators learned she had fled to the Knoxville area…
