KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — What’s the catchy tune? From Alex Warren to “KPop Demon Hunters,” these are the songs that people in Knoxville searched for most on Google.
While nationally, Taylor Swift dominated search engines with songs from her new album “The Life of a Showgirl,” searches in Knoxville were a little more diverse featuring artists like Alex Warren and Jessie Murph as well as two songs from the hit Netflix animated musical “KPop Demon Hunters.”

5. Your Idol -Saja Boys
This song is from Netflix’s hit animated movie “KPop Demon Hunters.” In the movie, the Saja Boys are a group of demons disguised as a boy band who attempt to steal people’s souls. “Your Idol” comes near the end of the movie when it looks like all hope is lost before the Saja Boys are stopped by the demon hunter/pop star group HUNTR/X.
4. Golden – HUNTR/X
Also from “KPop Demon Hunters,” the song “Golden” is about self-acceptance. It is sung by the fictional band HUNTR/X who moonlight as demon hunters, keeping the world safe through the power of song.
3. Ordinary – Alex Warren
“Ordinary” is a love ballad to a woman who takes the singer “out of the ordinary,” often describing her with religious phrases such as “at your altar, I will pray.” The music video features Warren’s wife, Kouvr Annon. It was part of Warren’s album “You’ll Be Alright, Kid.”
2. Wood – Taylor Swift
This sexually-charged love song is part of Taylor Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl.” It also deals with themes of superstition, drawing its title from the phrase “knock on wood.” Swift recently announced her engagement to football player Travis Kelce. This was the number one most searched song nationally, and two other songs from the album made the top five.
1. Blue Strips – Jessie Murph
This newer artist from Alabama played in the Tennessee Valley Fair in September. “Blue Strips” is a pop song from her album “Sex Hysteria.” The song is about a woman who is getting back at her former partner by getting a new partner and buying a mansion.

While the a few of the songs that were most searched for on Google in the Knoxville area also made the national list, Taylor Swift songs took up three spots on the list.
