The Tennessee Vols are currently involved in one of the strangest recruiting sagas we’ve ever seen, as 2026 four-star athlete Legend Bey was committed to Tennessee from late June to November before flipping to Ohio State following a visit to Columbus.Bey unexpectedly flipped back to Tennessee on the first day of the early signing period.The Vols announced Bey’s signing and then things got weird.

A report surfaced that stated Bey preferred to sign with Ohio State, but his mom wouldn’t sign off on that decision.

“Sources told 247Sports Wednesday evening that Bey was unhappy with the decision and would seek a path to be released from Tennessee and end up at Ohio State,” reported 247Sports’ Mike Roach. “We were told that this would likely play out in three weeks when Bey turns 18 years old on Christmas Eve, but Bey decided to communicate his unrest Thursday.”…
