In a recent move aimed at bolstering the leadership acumen of its police forces, three major cities in the American South have banded together to inaugurate the Tri-City Police Leadership Academy. The social media page of the Knoxville Police Department – TN announced the ceremony celebrating the first cohort’s completion of this cutting-edge program. An alliance of the Knoxville Police Department, the Louisville Metro Police Department, and the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department led to the creation of this first-of-its-kind initiative. Each city hosted a week of the program, thereby providing a varied backdrop for learning.
