The historic Campbell Station Inn at 11409 Kingston Pike in Farragut is ready to begin its new chapter as a welcome center and event venue, with officials preparing to mark its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. on January 8. According to the Town of Farragut’s announcement, the event will offer tours of the newly furnished space and provide light refreshments for visitors post-ceremony. Moving forward, the center will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, beginning January 9.
With the capacity to host up to 30 guests, the event space at Campbell Station Inn is set to become available for small gatherings. While details about the facility are promised to be available on VisitFarragut.org by February 1, rumors of its adaptability and charm have already started to circulate. Tourism Manager Hallie Reid expressed excitement about the Inn’s transition to public use, noting, “Having a welcome center is a major step for our tourism program.” Reid, in a statement obtained by the Town of Farragut, also shared her anticipation of promoting the town as a prime spot “to shop, dine and play.”…
